Tale
After a bullying incident at their elite school, half-siblings Caroline and Lucien decide to maintain their power and reputation by seducing the daughter of the Vice President of the United States. The direct-to-video sequel Cruel Intentions 2 (2000), with Amy Adams replacing Sarah Michelle Gellar as Kathryn Merteuil, was originally scripted for a television series before being made into a feature film. Gellar later reprised her role as Kathryn in 2016 in the NBC pilot Cruel Intentions (2016), which was not ordered to series.

The remake is so boring and so slow. It doesn’t even compare to the original. The guy who plays Lucien doesn’t even look very attractive, he looks like a high school kid.
I’m not mad at the show, I’m just a little disappointed
I couldn’t watch the first episode, it was boring and the acting was bad. I’m a huge fan of the show Cruel Intentions and I was waiting for the remake, in fact I was waiting for the sequel with Sarah Michelle Gellar. You don’t even know who to root for, the character development is so bad.

This wasn’t the remake I wanted. It’s so bad and so disappointing. The beginning was kind of good but then it started to go downhill for me.
